Their Proposal Story:
“We knew pretty early on that we were going to marry each other, it was just a matter of when. Over the course of many conversations, we chose summer of 2020 and began to plan an elopement. We both felt that we wanted to devote our time and energy to preparing for the marriage, not the wedding, and we wanted the day we exchange vows to be simple and sweet.”
What was the Most Important Thing to the Two of You While Planning? Was There Anything That you Chose to Add on or Skip?
“The most important thing was for our marriage to start on a happy and peaceful note, so we decided to skip all the stress and expectations of a traditional wedding.”
What Advice Would You Give to Couples Getting Engaged/Planning Their Wedding?
“Your wedding day is about the two people exchanging vows, so you're the only people whose opinions matter. It's easy to be swept up in other people's expectations from you. You'll enjoy the process (and strengthen your relationship) if you learn to tune everyone else out and do what's best for you.”
