What is Your Proposal Story? Ellis drove me to a scenic spot in the mountains that we ride his motorcycle to often. With the gorgeous mountains as our backdrop, he said the sweetest things to me and proposed. We then got to meet up with family that night and surprise them with the great news =)
How did You Decide Your Wedding Decor/Theme? We wanted something simple and elegant but also very us. Green is my favorite color and black and white seemed very classic and very us =)
What was the Most Important Thing to the Two of You While Planning? Was There Anything That you Chose to Add on or Skip? The most important thing was for it to be fun! We wanted to have a celebration that was reflective of us, easy on our guests and a fun time. We knew we wanted to eliminate a lot of tradition because they didn't feel us. For example, I am not wearing a dress =)
What Advice Would You Give to Couples Getting Engaged/Planning Their Wedding? If you are planning on getting engaged - congrats! We have found the most success in our ability to communicate and to constantly be maintaining our relationship - always looking to improve both ourselves individually and as a unit. When you are planning your wedding make sure you do what best reflects you - don't be afraid to cut out traditions that don't resonate with you or bring in new ones that make you happy.
