Lindsey and Ben FINALLY got married! After having to postpone twice due to Covid, they were able to tie the knot surrounded by their closest family and friends and the stunning Tapestry House managed by Wedgewood Weddings.
The Proposal
“After we both graduated, I got a teaching job of my dreams and we moved together to Longmont, CO. I was lucky enough to have an amazing team who Ben thought was pretty great, too. Behind my back, they organized an elaborate proposal. At our winter assembly in 2017, I was signed up to participate in the third and final event, a blindfold game. I thought I was going to put my hands in something gross, little did I know Ben and our families were waiting in the boy's locker room of the school. As the game was introduced, I was doing my best to figure out a way to see under my blindfold so I could win, a tactic which I was kindly reminded not to use. I heard the words "Ms. Cook, you can take your blindfold off now," and, in front of 500 students, staff, family and friends, Ben asked me to marry him.”
