Sarah and Keith have an amazing story of overcoming obstacles. In her own words she described her proposal to me. Keith has beaten cancer twice now, and Sarah was with him through the second round of chemotherapy. After his PET scan came back clean, they immediately started planning a "Keith Crushed Cancer Cruise". The night before their trip, Sarah misplaced her passport and they were up until 2am finding it - but they found it, and they were off! A whole group of friends stayed an extra night before the cruise in New Orleans, Sarah's favorite city. Little did Sarah know, that Keith had prepared a second line band to usher him in on Bourbon Street, where he asked her to marry him. After a few "are you kidding?s" from Sarah, she said yes. :)

Juli and Austins vows still bring me to tears, even after reviewing their videos multiple times. Even their proposal story (in the brides own words) move me:

In March of 2019, Juli and Austin made a trip to Mammoth Mountain with Juliโ€™s mother Elisa, her brother Jonathan, and Jonathanโ€™s girlfriend Paige. They stayed at Mammoth Mountain Inn at the bottom of the ski slopes, with a panoramic view of the mountain and a perfect sunrise coming through the front window of the A-frame lodge. Under a weak ruse, Austin snuck the ring in his pocket and asked Juli if she would like to join him on the front deck of the lodge to watch the sun rise. While taking in a perfect, crisp mountain sunrise on the completely silent mountain and fumbling around in his pocket for what felt like an eternity, Austin dropped to one knee and quite poetically found himself at a complete lack of words while choking through nerves and tears. After a painfully long wait, Juli gave him the โ€˜Yesโ€™ of which he had dreamed for such a long time. They celebrated over breakfast and a perfect weekend of skiing.

Austin and Juli were nearly a story of missed connections. They first met during a bike ride in the summer of 2017, having been introduced by their mutual friend Katie Rollins. Austin made the blindingly dumb decision not to ask for her number on the spot and the two went their separate ways.
